Apple Store Opening on Greenwich Avenue!
On November 21, 2009, at 10 o’clock in the morning, a brand new Apple store openned at 356 Greenwich Avenue! There was quite a line of people waiting for the store to open and around 75 employees were on hand when the doors openned. If you were one of the lucky first 1,000 customers, you received a t-shirt with “Greenwich Avenue” on the front of it. Rumors have it that the t-shirts were gone in 40 minutes… 1,000 customers in 40 minutes, not bad! People came from all over the tri-state area: New Jersey, New York and all parts of Connecticut. If the first day is any indication, the Apple store will be a great success… although, we have come to expect nothing less from Apple!
